I called for an estimate after our ceiling was dripping during a cold spell. We have known for years that we needed more insulation in the attic but kept putting it off. Roger came to do the estimate. He was very knowledgeable. I was shocked at how affordable it was! My husband and I are kicking ourselves for waiting so long. I loved the fact that it was Roger and one other worker. So many other companies send you whoever to do the work. I am a very happy customer! I would HIGHLY recommend this company! 1/2018

Initially, I worked with Roger about 13 years ago on the previous townhouse I owned. The livability of the 2nd floor was greatly improved after the insulation was installed. I never got a first-hand look at the attic until we had a leak in the roof 11 years later. The upstairs was always very warm in the winter and we had heating vents in the ceiling. Last year in 2019, I bought a single family home and knew I would need to insulate the attic as we discovered during the inspection that insulation was almost non-existent! The first person I thought of calling was Roger. The entire process was so easy! I had Roger come and look at the house, the next day he got me a quote and was able to come back the following week and add the insulation. Roger was very neat during the entire process and you wouldn’t even know that anyone was here doing work afterwards. The insulation has been up there less than 24 hours and it’s already feeling like a big improvement. I know I hired the right company. They’re great to work with.

Roger, Sue and everyone at Chapman Insulation are great! From the time of first inspecting our home to see what our insulation needs were, Roger was very thorough and profession with his explanations and information.
We had our insulation installed in July 2019 and prior to that, we were seeing 4-5 degrees difference between the main floor temps and the upstairs temps.
After insulation we immediately noticed a HUGE difference! Now we have consistently seen a 1-2 degree difference between the main floor and upstairs and has made a difference in comfort sleeping at night with these hot summer days.
We expect to see a big difference in our Electric and Gas bills in the months and years to come.

After months of trying to figure out why I was getting water in my attic (and after the roofers had been back twice to say, “not me”), I contacted Chapman Insulation.
Roger came out to investigate, and found that my issue was lack of air flow. Somehow, between the existing insulation, and the new roof, the flow of air had been blocked.
Chapman installed baffling and new insulation. (after the mold remediation company did their thing)
I have noticed the temperature difference in that area of the home – it’s much cooler with these high temps this summer.
I’m extremely pleased, and would recommend Chapman Insulation to my friends. I felt like I was working with a trusted friend.
I’m thankful Roger and crew identified the issue, and helped me work through the resolution.

“We have worked with Roger Chapman in the past on another location over 25 years ago and called again when we needed his expertise at our current home in Glencoe. We had a contractor change the siding on our home and install a new roof. The contractor recommended we install venting in the soffit along the roof line which we agreed for him to do. Unfortunately the contractor didn’t clear the existing insulation from above the venting and neglected to install vent tubes in between every truss space so the venting would actually work as intended. We called Roger out to inspect a condensation issue we were having on the bedroom ceilings below our attic and he instantly recognized the problem. Roger gave us a very fair estimate and we hired him. He was able to come out and install the vent tubes as well as finish off the insulation in our attic space so we are up to code. Roger & Sue – Thanks for your help and great work!”
